Lions bring back Dan Orlovsky to back up Matthew Stafford

The Lions agreed to a one-year deal with Dan Orlovsky on Wednesday, bringing back the only quarterback in NFL history to unknowingly run out of his own end zone and spackle my brother’s basement.

Orlovsky started seven games for the 0-16 Lions, including the game when he rolled out of his own end zone in a 12-10 loss to the Vikings. The FOX announcers that day called Orlovsky a “poor guy” like he rides the short bus to games and Peter King the next morning questioned whether he could ever be a professional quarterback.

Welp, six years later, Dan-O’s back with the Lions.
