Preseason fashion. Comeback dramatic fashion.

Matt Stafford made his NFL debut and went 7-14 for 114 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT (for a touchdown). Three of his perfect passes were dropped by Keary Colbert.

Drew Stanton led the comeback charge as the Lions came back from 9 down with under 3 minutes to play to win it on a 46-yard game winning field goal from Jason Hanson.

Overall, the Lions were not very impressive although they were playing with about half their team out with injuries.
