Now What?

I don't even know what to say at this point.  I guess tonight I learned what a kick to the balls feels like.  After the off season the Wings had, the start of this season, the Johan Franzen torn ACL, and now this. I am convinced the team is full of secret puppy kickers. It's the only thing to explain this sort of shitty karma.

George has the news that Filppula, the Wings most consistent center, will be out 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist. What now? A trade which is very un-Holland.  A call up-despite the fact that they have already depleted their depth.  Roll with what they have and hope Abdelkader can step up and provide the necessary impact.

I'm far too negative and far to pissed to have any rational thoughts about this. I'll be back tomorrow with a game recap (although it almost feels pointless now) and some more thoughts on Filppulagate. All I know for sure is some how I will find a way to blame Lebda for this shit storm.

Let me just end by saying, they call Holland the best in the business for a reason.  Now's the time for him to show it.
